ILO 323rd Governing Body

In March 2015, a team of students and academics from the Faculty of Social Sciences travelled to Geneva to work as Global Policy Analysts at the International Labour Organisation (ILO) 323rd Governing Body. Professor Jason Heyes, Dr Thomas Hastings and students Alexandra Williams, Jack Ithell, Dean Broomhead, Fatin Liyana Abdul Rahim, Anneliese Fernandes and Simon Renwick joined delegates from the ILO to observe the Governing Body session.

The group spent fours days immersed in and observing the 323rd Governing Body Session at the ILO headquarters in Geneva

The students were required to write reflective blogs, as well as, two policy briefs on topics discussed at the Governing Body Session.
