G7 summit 2017

GLI_G7_Taormina_2017In May 2017, Dr Garrett Brown (Politics) and Professor Hugo Dobson (East Asian Studies) led a team of seven students to the G7 Summit in Taormina, Italy.

Rachael Bunyan (Politics, Undergraduate), Adam Coles (Sheffield Methods Institute, Postgraduate), Jack Hunnaball (Politics, Undergraduate), Dinora Kruja (Politics, Undergraduate), Yuma Osaki (Law, Postgraduate), Dale Riahi (Management, Undergraduate) and Joanna Weir (Politics, Postgraduate) were based at the International Media Centre at this 43rd meeting of the G7 where they followed developments at this first time G7 summit for British Prime Minister Theresa May, French President Emmanuel Macron, Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni, and U.S. President Donald Trump.
